I’ve never seen windows that swing out at the bottom. What’s the purpose of that design? Other than: it looks cool?
Yea, those are cool they are called awning windows and typically don’t open very far just enough to let in some fresh air. The window above it has a nice unobstructed view by using a huge panel of glass which can’t be made into operable window, so the little window below is a way of introducing some fresh air without compromising the view of the big window above.
